Who are you?
                                                   
Who are you and how did you get here? Well, simply put we all were born into this world, we did not ask for it; we had no control over it, but here we are! We grow up in this world not knowing who we really are and we spent a lifetime trying to figure out who we are, trying to "find ourselves" and why we are here. During this time the world tries hard to influence us to follow in its ways. One of the biggest lies the world sells today is that this life is forever, that you will not die. Does that sound familiar? This world sells that this life is all that there is and that there is nothing after it. This way the world tells you to live for today and to live it up and have all the enjoyment you can have now. But they are lying to you! People even start to lie to themselves. Shouldn’t we live by facts and by the truth! Aren’t you tired of all the lies and fake hopes and fantasies that the world sells? Haven’t you had enough? Aren’t you looking for something better? Wouldn’t you like to have a real hope? Wouldn’t you like to live without the fear of death?

                                    Accepting the Truth
We all are going to die; it is a fact, because no one lives here forever. That shouldn’t be too hard to accept. But the next question is; why are people so scared of death and why is it such a taboo subject? Isn’t it because of what happens after death? We naturally fear death because deep down inside we know that there is something after death. We all will stand before our Creator. We will have to give account. Worse yet we all know that we are guilty, that we have broken God’s holy commands and therefore we are ashamed to face him. Do you remember Adam and Eve? They tried to hide from God and it didn’t work for them. Consider these facts and truths, let them sink in, don’t run and hide or avoid them. If you really face the truth you will see your need for an Answer, it will dawn on you that you do deserve condemnation because of your sins and that you need help outside of yourself in order to be able to stand before God!

                      The Good News!
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, Jesus Christ himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.                                                                       Hebrews 2:14&15
