..for he has said, not will I leave you, not ever!
nor will I forsake you, not ever! Hebrews 13:5
Do you believe it was God who called you in the first place?
for the free gifts and the calling of GOD are not
to be repented of. Romans 11:29
Jesus is trustworthy. You can trust Him. Come
to Him as you are, bring yourself to him, many have let you down, but He hasn't.
He rose from the dead, nothing is too hard for him.
He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but gave Him over on behalf of us all, how will He not freely give all things to us with Him?(Romans8:32)
One of our brothers said; one drop of Jesus's blood would have been enough, but he shed all of his blood. Your sins are covered by rivers of his blood.
HE IS WORHTY OF YOUR TRUST.
In Churches that abuse or cults with leaders where it's either their way or the highway, members are always made to feel like it is their fault, or they are just not good enough, or only good enough for a while till they fall out of favor... No matter how hard they try, they always end up as failures and in total frustration.....and it's always their fault...
That's just not the way God and Jesus Christ are toward their own. Remember Jesus Christ is the Redeemer, Lifegiver not a lawgiver, burdenlayer, his burden is light and his yoke is easy. He is the Beginner and the Finisher of our Faith.
ROMANS 8:31
what then shall we say to these things? if GOD be us, who can be against us?
ROMANS 8:37
but in all these things we are MORE than a conquerer through Him LOVING us.
LUKE 15:20-23
and rising up, he came to his father. But he yet being far away, his father saw him and was moved with compassion. And running, he fell to his neck and fervently kissed him. And his son said to him, Father, i have sinned against heaven and before you and no longer am i worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his slaves, bring out the best robe and clothe him, and give a ring to his hand and sandals to his feet. And bring the fattened calf, slaughter and let us eat and be merry; for this son of mine was a dead one and lived again and was lost and was found. And they began to be merry.

Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17
What may be the signs that you are/or were in a church that abuses?
1. One person makes all the decision. 2. Somehow you're never quite
good enough, or it's always your fault that you/the church is not
succeeding. 3. the pastor is like a dictator...4. They tell you;"this is the only way to heaven for you" 4.People that want to leave are condemned.
5. Dissagreeing with the pastor is not allowed. 6. Anyone dissagreeing,
is made to be the bad guy 7. the leader lives one way, the members
another. 8. The Holy Spirit leading is not one of the main focuses.
9.They may force you to separate from your family.(or to disown them)
10. In general; speak badly or condescendingly of other christians...
11. Some of the rules and regulations may seem odd, but can't be
questioned. 12. Make a big separation between the church and the rest
Don't let these things get you to run from Jesus, run to Him....

For Individuals who are straying; or for believers who may be wandering in the desert of this world,

"Your" Church/group, may not be right for you if;
1. The main purpose of the church is anything less then leading and guiding you and others to our Lord Jesus Christ.
2. The leading of the Holy Spirit is not highly valued and sought
3. One, or a select few make all or most of the decisions.
4. If the pastor is not a servant to all his members, but instead is the "lord" of all.
(He is always right, he is beyond being questioned, he knows everything better and he can out-talk everyone else....)
5. There is no oversight or checks in place, and you are discouraged from questioning anything, or your questions are not really welcome.....
6. You are "the bad guy"or "an outcast", if you disagree with the pastor or the "doctrine"
7." This is the ONLY way to heaven for you", they keep telling you....
8. The leader has a "special" calling from God.....
9. The life-style/living conditions of the leadership as compared with your average members, are two very different things....
10. The church claims to have a UNIQUE bible insight and an HIGHER understanding than other churches, or so they claim...
11.If you leave, you are doomed and terrible things are bound to happen to you......
12. You don't feel free there....(you may feel sort of boxed in or restricted)
13. You are not allowed be an individual or discouraged from being an individual for the good of the group....or severely restricted
Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all those laboring and being burdened and i will give you rest. take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because i am meek and lowly one in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light
Learn how Jesus saves completely and loves you so much, that he died for you, He has plans for you, plans for your welfare, since the beginning of time, to give you a future and a hope.
God through Jesus Christ has started a good work in you, and he will complete it, he promised. Philippians 1:6
John 6:37 All that the Father gives to me shall come to me, and the one coming to me
I will not cast out, not ever.
COME, says the Lord God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit! All good things are in COMING to Christ!
And seeing, the pharisees said to his disciples, why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and
sinners? But Jesus hearing, He said to them; the ones being strong have no need of a healer,
but the ones badly having illness. But going, learn what this is; I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For
I did not come to call the righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Matthew 9:10-13
You cannot go wrong in coming to Jesus Christ, tell Him how you really feel, how you really are, let it all out, tell Him, tell him what frustrates you, got you trapped, got you doubting, what you need help with, your problems.......
LET THE HEALING BEGIN!
Don't let what others do or did to you keep you from your only Hope. Don't let what others told you keep you from the Savior! What is He telling you? You are worth it, He proved it! How? By dying on the cross for all of you! He thought you so important, that He was willing to give His life for you, not only willing, but He actually did it, for you.
God doesn't forgive, only to punish later! Don't delay, come to him for healing, refreshing, Grace, Mercy, Love. And don't you secretly wish you could have a real relationship with Christ, but think that you are not good enough or that He doesn't want you?
LIES, LIES, nothing but LIES. Jesus came to save sinners, are your sins too much for him?
Remember the apostle Paul, he was a murderer, a pharasee and God chose him.
David, was an adulterer, murderer, and God forgave him and many more like that....
P R A Y !!!!
COME TO HIM, BRING YOURSELVES AS YOU ARE
JESUS CHRIST IS OUR HEALER
If any of the above things ring a bell, or you have red flags appearing in your mind; first thing you do is pray! Ask our Lord Jesus Christ to show you what to do, and he will! If you are convinced that the group/church is a cult, or cultish - if you are able, get away right away, leave. Or take a "leave of absence", and meditate, seek God and relax, God is in control, he will show you the way and what he wants you to do....
